While on vacation in Canada, staying with my parents, I have been separating recycle able items as well as separating food items for disposal. I don’t do such a through job at home and I wish to be more mindful when I return as well.

I always carry reusable water bottles for myself and my kids to avoid having to buy single use plastic bottled water.

I was out and about shopping and had to use the bathroom several times. I used the hand dryer or air dried my hands each time. I noticed how much I think my actions don't matter. Like the thought was right there, what does it really matter if I use a paper towel.

I always bring two eco bags when I go to the market. This helps when I avoid purchasing additional plastic bags when buying large quantities of vegetables.

I am on holiday at the moment. I always reuse towels at the hotel and make as little mess as possible. I try to teach my children to do the same with varying degrees of success and failure.

    - 06/27+28 - I usually bring my tumbler whenever I go out ; whenever I eat out, I either finish everything that I have ordered, or if it's too much I ask to bring the leftovers home in a "doggy bag".
