I picked blueberries and blackberries at a local farm and also bought vegetables there. I felt proud that I was able to support the local farm, as well as purchase fresh produce for my family.

Through one of the email newsletters I subscribe to, I learned that training a generative AI model consumes as much electricity as a small town uses in a month. This is worrying at a time when we are already struggling to meet our carbon footprint targets. I discussed this issue with my husband, an early adopter and heavy tech user, and felt the need for more public awareness of this issue.

I had fun being creative and made my own waxed paper grocery bag out of some paper wrapping. I added features to it by gluing zip lock bag in it for wet groceries, a cardboard base to give it shape. It looks hideous, but it also works very well and it is sturdy. I did not use a single plastic bag for the vegetables I bought.

I used a reusable pouch for vegetables while grocery shopping.

I carry a reusable bottle for water and buy cans, if possible, to avoid creating more landfill.

I use a tumbler as usual throughout the day. I feel great that I did not use plastic bottles, at least for water consumption. I still consume some bottles of kombucha, but I will try to find other ways to drink kombucha, such as using a mix that I can add to water.

I have gotten so much better at eating leftovers and reducing food waste. I have a very long way to go but am glad for the Jungto school's teaching to create awareness of how important it is not to waste!

I have been increasing my aircon temperature which brings my overall electricity consumption down. But I think I nullified my electricity savings by accidentally keeping my water heater on overnight 🤦‍♂️

I line-dried some laundry this morning instead of using the dryer. Later on, I bought some merch at a store and now I\'m having a bit of buyer\'s remorse. Did I really need to buy two tshirts and a sweater?

I bought vegan, cruelty-free, and bio cleaning products.
